Ashok Kumar Vishwakarma (Pokhariyan-tola, village Amelia, MP) tells us why the kids from his village can’t go to school during monsoons. The only road to the school in their village is a dirt road, which gets sludgy and unusable during rains. The flooded stream flowing across it makes it inaccessible for everyone, especially the kids. The villagers have appealed to the Gram Panchayat many times, but nothing has ever changed. Interviewer: Virendra Singh.
